192 months of living(subjective really)
some of us who were at the scholarship's convention today at RJC have arrived at a consensus to take certain amount of action on monday against an individual, who induced in our brains certain quantities of false information about the convention.
i have to say with my utmost regret that i am inclined to such a consensus as well. i am rather irritable now, because i wasn't able to get any information on SPH scholarships. i hope i am able to restrain myself on monday, and not cause to much harm. As you know, my soccer is so damned professional that when i kick the ball i don't look at where i kick it(to) or where the ball is when i kick it. perhaps on monday i won't even be able to distinguish between a soccer ball and certain other similar objects. yeah.
while our realm of discussion approaches somewhere around the subject of school, i shall put here my personal advert from a few weeks ago to all potential visitors looking for a fun time at bishan:
[11/07/07 - Ultra Zoom]
"An ultra zoom into today's brilliant scene in school today will give those who haven't been here often (perhaps coming over next year), and our dearest sisters of raffles an idea of what to expect:
1.Projector screens falling down at a single tug. In the new block too.
2. RI water facilities and water sports. The fountain of raffles in the admin block, the RI jacuzzi, and the RI stream. *All only available on rainy days.
3. Also on rainy days, you will get to witness the new monument, also known as the Bridge to Torrent-bite-ya, where you get to experience the greatness and wetness of parting waters across a waterfall!
a survey with our classmates proved that 100% of them were fascinated by this scene. (survey sample size: 1)
4. The RJC amazing corridor water tension machine! Fully demonstrates the effect of water tension on rainy days only. an amazing spectacle! available throughout all corridors(or most), in Block A and B. safety precautions are mandatory. and you will definitely get wet. "
so there, all's well and exciting for a good school year! which as somone, i can't remember who , defines as just "an action-packed holiday." how true. not joking - something should be done about these things. or rather, i am asking why are there these things in the first place? aren't these supposed to be relatively new/newly upgraded?
and the piano at the amphitheatre needs some replacing.
so ends my short rant. once again my urge to complain has not been successfully supressed. I think sometimes i really think and complain too much. something has to be done about this. ah, i'm at it again. -.- maybe it's just because national day is in 5 days, and i'm getting really singaporean about this. (:
leoson kicked-off.
